Native to India, Sri Lanka.
Semi woody shrub with large evergreen leaves. Huge , showy orange and red flowers are held above the foliage which appear in the fall.
Have a few growing in my yard for at least 7 years. Very reliable bloomer. Flowers are getting larger and larger with age.
Very tropical looking, impressive shrub.
Best in full sun or partial sun
Care free.
