Acacia stenophylla -Shoestring Acacia EASY TO GROW
Columnar , evergreen ,fast growing tree.
Does well in alkaline & heavy clay soils. It is highly tolerant of water logging, enabling it to survive in areas where flooding occurs, such as beside watercourses and on floodplains .
Very long narrow and slightly twisted, drooping leaves lightly clothe weeping branches. Has Grey-green foliage. New growth is deep maroon color.
Has small rounded creamy yellow flowers that appear in late winter/spring followed by clusters of brown seed pods.
New bark is maroon.
Moderately drought tolerant.
Great heat tolerance.
Very graceful, attractive tree.
