Indian Clock Vine- Thunbergia mysorensis
Considered one of the most beautiful vines in the world.
This plant comes from the forests of Southern India where it grows at elevations up to 3,000 feet.
Received the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit in 1993.
I have this vine growing in our greenhouse & partially outside on top of the greenhouse for several years. . Last year, counted 104 flowers, dangling down from the foliage. Inflorescences are 2-3 Ft long. Great for trellis or pergola.
Here in zone 9A, blooms 6-7 mo. a year, In tropical climate, year around. Really beautiful
Hummingbirds love it.
Super easy to care for.
Does not like cold wet weather- likes roots in shade or partial sun
